Prompt for this assignment 1. Will read Sweet & Sour to the students which is a fracture fairytale from diamonds and toads 2. After seeing my example, show the students this website http://www.surlalunefairytales.com/ (after viewing the website the students may pick a story to fracture) 3. With a partner you will start to brainstorm on how going to either change the character, the setting, the point of view. (with someone how has a different story from yourself) 4. Begin writing your own fracture fairytale.
Thoughts
I feel as this would be a great way to have the students practice using technology by creating something of their own. Its not going be perfect and thrown together, will give the students time work on this assignment at home and in class just in case they do not have the proper supplies. I do not like listening my voice I feel like i would giggle listening to all these videos. It was definitely a great opportunity to experience for the future to have in our classrooms.
